Oh my. This is amazing work!
Wow, this is stunning! Gorgeous subtle colourwork and a really interesting subject. ;) Love it!
Thanks! I work hard to make the colors as true to life as my selection of quilling paper will allow.
You have done a tremendous job recreating the human anatomy. I really enjoyed your "brain". Hugs, antonella :-)
Thanks, Antonella! I have fun making it!
The brain looks like filigree jewelry! WOW How are you choosing your subject matteR? so curious. Is quilling hard I've never done it before...you make it look so effortless and beautiful (which I'm sure it's not)! How many hours to complete this one? curious.
Thanks Nae! I made the connection between quilling (or paper filigree) and the human anatomy while I was in the woods of maine and I've been a little obsessed with making it ever since! It centrally is challenging but nothing worth doing is easy, especially in art. To answer you question it took me about 42 hours to make the quilled brain.
Really Nice. I made a wallpaper out of it, hope you don't mind:http://min.us/mv5THs
Wow! Your artwork is absolutely incredible! I'm a medical student and I can't get over how accurate everything is.
Ari that is so nice to hear. I work from medical diagrams and I try my hardest to make them accurate!
you really have the talent! your work is amazing. and the brain.... quilled? isn't it just the way that the brain works? i love your work
Wow, I do Quilling but nothing like this...good for you, your work is awesome :D)
